Sovereign AI

Artificial intelligence whose infrastructure, data and models are controlled by the company, without legal dependence on a foreign operator.

Sovereign AI refers to an approach to artificial intelligence where the organization keeps end-to-end control: data never leaves its legal and technical perimeter, models can be run on its own infrastructure, and no foreign provider can either access the processed content or unilaterally cut off the service.

In practice, sovereignty plays out on three levels: legal (the operator is not subject to extraterritorial laws such as the US Cloud Act), technical (on-premise deployment or a trusted cloud, open-source models running locally) and operational (no dependence on a single model provider).
