Air-gapped (isolated from the network)

A computing environment physically or logically isolated from the internet, used for the most sensitive data and systems.

An air-gapped deployment runs without any outbound connection: no API calls, no telemetry, no automatic updates. It is the typical requirement of defense, critical industrial environments, or legal and financial departments handling confidential operations.

Running AI air-gapped requires open-source models executed entirely locally, local document indexing, and updates applied manually. It is the highest level of sovereignty, impossible with ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini or any cloud AI.
